Crouton is the same in French as it is in English except in French, the “u” wears a little hat. Silly French croutons…

“I WILL EAT YOUR SOUL” at any volume seems to be an ineffective threat in an attempt to motivate dogs.

Living Colour in town tonight! (Minneapolis)

1456548_ratio4x3_width180Bummer, wish I were free to go see them. Although the last album I checked out from Living Colour wasn’t anything special, or at least not on par with their early work, I do very much enjoy their first two albums.

I hope someone out there will get to see them tonight and let me know how it was.

Pat Benetar is invincible too

Although her career evidently is not invincible.

Actually, for whatever reason, Love is a Battlefield is the song that popped into my head, but this is more timely.

My arm kinda hurts from the flu shot… dang I’m a wuss.

Remebering the Death Star, one year later

The Star Wars content seems abnormally high here lately. Not sure why. In any event, here’s some more.

Viva la dishwasher!

SAN FRANCISCO - MARCH 25: Salesman Reece Will...

In honor of installing a new dishwasher today, I present to you King Missile’s Dishwasher. It’s about a dude, sorta, not a machine, but what are the odds that the band I used yesterday would have a dishwasher related song?! The song audio takes a little while to get going, so be patient.

Enjoy the song, it’s much more entertaining (and cheaper) than purchasing and installing a new dishwasher.

Flat Earth Brewery tour this afternoon

Looking for something to do this afternoon? Check out the free brewery tour over at Flat Earth Brewery.

From MNBeer:

Check out how Jeff works his magic to create Flat Earth beer during their September brewery tour. Afterward, he suggests the group head over to Groveland Tap for their beer festival. So, get that pesky to do list accomplished in the morning and spend the afternoon enjoying great beer.

I’m not a sensitive artist, but I know where to find one

I went down to the library this morning and there were some teens sitting around in the grass in front of the library. One was playing a guitar. I was instantly reminded of King Missile’s Sensitive Artist.

Nothing against the guys, it’s just that some stuff cracks me up for no good reason.
