Something Shiny

Basic Instructions’ Scott Meyer taught me there is a third kind of funny (in addition to “haha funny” and “weird funny”). This third kind of funny, “creepy funny,” may be a subset of “weird funny,” or more specifically, “weird funny” could be broken into two categories: “politically incorrect haha funny” and “creepy funny.”

“Politically incorrect haha funny” would be anything a 2nd grader would laugh at that and adult would not be allowed to laugh at including mental impairments and extreme size aberrations (e.g. the obese, dwarfs, and obese dwarfs), among other things. “Creepy funny” is more along the lines of making lampshades out of human skin and the personality type represented in this Basic Instructions installment.
