Something Shiny

This isn’t metal, but it’s nice and heavy. It’s also about my wife’s hometown of Jordan, MN. In a way, I’m a little jealous there’s no song about my hometown, on the other hand, I’m ok with the absence of a children sex-abuse scandal in my hometown (that being the basis of this song).

Although, considering I just heard about this song yesterday, who’s to say I haven’t also been missing a song about my hometown. I guess I’ll just have to comfort myself knowing the mall I worked in as a teen was mentioned in Juno.
