Come to think of it, the state of the union address is more like football, and baseball, and basketball, and lacrosse, and, well, sports in that it's about doing nothing of consequence and then trying to make it seem like it wasn't your fault instead of letting people watch reruns of "Family Matters" or some other garbage.
