I’m not sure why everyone seems obliged to try to get in on April Fool’s day, but it leads to a ton of crap that isn’t funny. So far, the only thing that’s caught my eye was the Living Social deal for Spalami (in Porkland). Check out the promo video below, or just hit their site for details. At this point, runner up is Think Geek’s Angry Bird Pork Rinds. But after the brilliant Tuantaun sleeping bag and iCade of years past, I’m a little disappointed in TG’s showing this year.

There really isn’t a positive aspect of tech support. Part of what I do for a job is tech support and I hate it. I hate giving tech support, I hate getting tech support, it’s just miserable all the way around. Click the pic to see the full strip and check out the Xkcd take on the matter.

Wondermark is a generally solid web comic, and the surprise ending is a bit of specialty (like M. Night Shyamalan, except entertaining). But this strip really steps it up, you must, must MUST, click the pic to follow through to the full strip. MUST!!!

You ever have the experience where something is technically ha-ha funny, but you don’t actually laugh? It may well be a well crafted, clever joke; you may find yourself obliged to acknowledge it as such. But for some reason it doesn’t actually elicit the elusive LOL.
