I come seeking retribution
For fans of Surly Brewing beers or home brewing, or both, this video from Brewing TV featuring Surly Brewing is for you.

Note, on the episode page on the Brewing TV site, they link to the Northern Brewing clone kit for Surly’s Furious. You may also want to check out Midwest Supplies Ferocious IPA which was formulated with input from the gang at Surly in extract or all grain recipes.
You ever have the experience where something is technically ha-ha funny, but you don’t actually laugh? It may well be a well crafted, clever joke; you may find yourself obliged to acknowledge it as such. But for some reason it doesn’t actually elicit the elusive LOL.
Here, let me show you what I’m talking about:

Ah… Voltron… a much better toy than a cartoon as I learned when trying to watch old episodes a year or two back. So, don’t waste your money on the DVDs, just get the toy and continue assuming the show was as good as you remembered it to be.
By the way, my favorite bit in the product listing is “1:197 scale replica.” You know, because Voltron is real and is one hundred ninety seven feet tall.

I’m sure the stuffed burger is not an uncommon phenomenon across this great nation. Many of you may have even tried to create your own at home, only the have forming and sealing issues which led to filling oozing out the side. Well, that’s about to come to an end my friends. Behold the Stufz.
I’m somewhat concerned that they never show anyone using the product in the commercial they have posted on their site. They do show someone throwing it on the ground though to demonstrate how durable it is though, so at least we know it’s good for that… Also, I’m not sure why they make a point of mentioning that Stufz is made in Michigan AND made in the USA. “Made in Michigan? I would really rather buy something made in the good old US of A.”
Ok, one last thing… what’s up with the picture? Is it on fire? Is it cooking? If so, why is it in a bun already? Is it an explosion? Is Stufz dangerous? Any time I see unnecessary explosions, I’m reminded of the old TV show “The Fall Guy.” I’m not sure why. You might ask, why not “Knight Rider,” or “The A-Team“? Well, that’s because the explosions in those programs were totally necessary.
Oh, and you can click on the pic, to go to the product page and buy your own Stufz.

And to get you into the spirit (before you get into the spirits later), here’s some Dropkick Murphy’s for your listening pleasure.

This looks pretty cool, and at least a little bit dangerous. Whenever I see anything like this, I assume a children of the corn, or lord of the flies scenario has just played out. Presumably if there were adults around they would have at least sucked the fun out of the project if not killed it altogether.
So, either this is an old picture, or there’s some magical place in the world where parents don’t freak out about everything their kids do.
I suppose it’s possible it did happen here in the U.S. recently and parents were too busy watching Survivor?
Anyway, whatever loophole allowed this to happen, congratulations kids, looks like a heck of a lot of fun.

Although I’m not a huge fan of the design of this t-shirt, I do very much agree with the sentiment. I’ll even admit I could use a sip from the fountain of smart from time to time, particularly on a Monday morning.

I’m not sure why, but I desperately wish they had these for adults.

Well, I’ve got to say, I didn’t see that coming… Click the pic to head over to the Xkcd site to check out more random humor.
I do find myself wondering what the series of events would be that leads to Rain Man being shot at by Dirty Harry.
