Just a reminder, Bat for Lashes is playing at The Varsity Theater ($12 in advance, $15 at the door) and The Dropkick Murphys are playing over at Harriet Island (FREE!!) tonight.

Combining the current theme (covers), with tonight’s show (Bat for Lashes), leads to the inevitable I’m on Fire off of Fur and Gold.

Two Suns isn’t a bad album, but I’d be lying if I said I liked it as much as Fur and Gold. Perhaps it’s just the sophomore slump?

I really like Bat for Lashes, and the pic to the right is great, but I sincerely hope that the body art featuring Ralph Macchio (AKA Daniel-San) isn’t permanent.
