The Guy Expo – St. Paul RiverCentre
Nice to see some of my ideas are being implemented, even if I’m not the one doing it. Now if someone would just put together the guy version of a Tupperware party company. I suspect both pr0n and power tools would be successful candidates.
The Guy Expo brings all things guy-related to one event, including beer, chicken wings, gadgets, grills, audio equipment, auto accessories, a rifle range, home improvement gear, pro sports, race car driving, tailgating, contests, prizes, good grub and a swag sack full of free stuff.
The Guy Expo hits the Twin Cities at the St. Paul RiverCentre, catering to the Minnesota man—there’s nothing wimpy or soft spoken about it. It aims to be fun, loud, entertaining and slightly irresponsible. Of course there will be an Elvis component and chicken wings—the two will come together with “The King’s Wings” wing-eating contest, with contestants dressed as Elvis Presley. Another feature is a beer-a-thon to determine the “Minnesota Beer of the Year.” Other events include the crowning of a Miss Guy Expo and a beer can stacking contest.
