Ok, so they’re here in support of what is likely their day job at this point, Yo Gabba Gabba, but it doesn’t mean the big kids can’t have fun too. After two shows for the little kiddies at the Target Center, The Aquabats are off to the Triple Rock.

Some time ago I was lamenting that The Aquabats were throwing together a tour but it looked to be during the winter and no one comes to Minneapolis in the winter. Well, looks like we (me, anyway) are in luck. The tour is stretching into the spring when it’s officially safe to tour in MN (unless we get our annual March super storm, shhhh).
Anywho, they’ll be at the Triple-Rock on 3/13, tickets go on sale 2/12.

What’s summer without some fun in the pool? The Aquabats are having a pool party and you’re invited.

Ah, walking into work yesterday, The Aquabat’s cover of Jouney’s Don’t Stop Believing popped up on random on the Zune (yeah, I have a Zune) and it cracked me up. Unfortunately, it was from an XM special and hard to come by for legit streaming, so, here’s a suitable stand-in. Enjoy I Fell Asleep on My Arm by The Aquabats.
Quick warning and/or expectation setting… it sounds a heck of a lot like Korn or Rage against the Machine, but the lyrics make it worth listening to carefully.
